For 18 years, I climbed the corporate ladder. I took the promotions and the recognition as proof that I was doing it right. If I was overdoing it, at least it showed I was worth something.
I liked helping people. That part was real. But I always felt like I had to keep going and push through the exhaustion, because most of us are taught to tie our worth to how much we produce.
Over time, my work changed. More and more of my projects were about finding ways to get the work done with fewer people. The human part of my job kept shrinking. It kept me employed, but it cost me my health and my happiness.
In Human Design, I'm a Manifestor. We're here to inform and to initiate. When the people were taken out of the equation and my voice wasn't wanted anymore, I felt it right away. I was out of alignment, and something in me started to go quiet.
I was living on autopilot. The things I used to love had faded, and I couldn't remember who I was outside of my job. Underneath it all was a small, steady voice telling me there was more.
The turning point
One day I couldn't face another morning on the hamster wheel. I had just finished Ask Your Guides by Sonia Choquette, and that day I put all my faith in the universe. I said out loud, "I need help. I need something more than this. I can't do it anymore."
I was exhausted, physically and emotionally. I knew something had to change, and leaving corporate life terrified me.
Then the door opened. I was given the chance to leave on my own terms, with enough time and resources to find my way back to myself.
Finding my way back
I spent months on shadow work, somatic healing, and mindfulness. Slowly, I started asking a question that sounds simple and isn't: Who am I, and what do I actually like?
Try it. Sit with it for a minute. It's harder to answer than you'd think.
I kept coming back to one thing. I've always felt at peace when I'm helping others. For a Manifestor, peace is the sign of being in alignment.
So I followed it. I spent almost a year becoming a certified Transformational Nutrition Coach through the Institute of Transformational Nutrition, working with health through mind, body, and soul.
Then I found Human Design. I tried hard to prove it wrong. I love finding loopholes and things that don't hold up. This held up. It was so accurate that I became a certified Transformational Human Design practitioner.
Astrology came next, and it brought me back to where I started. My bachelor's degree is in psychology, and applied astrology brings the two together. It reads a birth chart as a map of how you think, feel, and relate, rather than as a prediction. I'm certified in applied astrology through DSA.
What I built
I assumed all of this was leading to a coaching practice. Understanding my own design showed me something different. I'm here to build the tools, courses, and resources, and to put them in one place. That place is the Alignment Hub, where you can do this work at your own pace and take what fits.
If this sounds like you
My path out of burnout changed everything. I learned that success isn't a title or a paycheck. It's feeling like yourself in your own life.
If you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or burned out, you're not alone. You can find your way back too, and it starts with getting curious about who you are.
