Why I built this

I built what I couldn't find.

As a parent, I spent years inside the school system asking for support that didn't fit neatly into its boxes.

I learned how much depends on the right label, the right test, and the right paperwork. When the label doesn't exist yet, the support doesn't either. And when something falls between the lines, even winning the fight doesn't always get you what you came for.

I want to be clear about one thing. The educators we met were doing their best. Most teachers went into this work because they love kids, and they didn't sign up to teach to a test. They're working inside a system that was designed long ago to prepare workers, and it hasn't caught up to what kids need now. The teachers are stuck too.

What's missing is what I kept looking for: learning that fits each child, wellness, movement and time outside, and the chance to build something of their own.

I couldn't find that inside the system, so I built it outside of it.

Why "Creative Alignment"

Kids who know themselves, and know how to create.
